John Friedman’s passion for floral artistry and the business side of the industry took root forty years ago as an entry level employee at Village Greenery & Flowers. It was there that his aesthetic influences, design mastery and ability to make customer’s visions a reality more than took shape – it launched his career. 

 

From there, John’s trajectory took him to floral design posts with some of Houston’s leading and most sought after high-end floral shops and designers including Bobb Wirfel of Leonard Tharp, David Brown Flowers and In Bloom, Inc. John credits the combination of those experiences, his mentors and the creative challenges of their customers as the preparation and seeds for launching his own business. 

 

In 2003 and with the encouragement of some of his longtime customers and former employers, John opened the doors of John Friedman Flowers. Almost 20 years later John Friedman Flowers has earned its place as one of the state’s premier luxury floral design studios and brands, with demand reaching from Galveston Island and as far north as Fort Worth. 

 

Today John Friedman Flowers specializes in same-day florals across all major design categories with deliveries throughout the greater Houston region. This also includes large-scale permanent installations for residential, restaurant and corporate environments. From small residential centerpieces to high-profile social events, hotel lobbies to Houston’s favorite restaurants, John Friedman prides himself on providing the highest standards of design excellence and quality flowers for all his customers.
